Sage Hydrosol
After a serious toxic mold exposure, mold often likes to make a home way at the back of your sinuses.
There it can live pretty much indefinitely if not treated to get rid of it. You don’t want that because it can keep you inflamed, brain-fogged, having headaches, insomnia, and mood symptoms by pissing off your immune system right next to (and inside) your brain. It can also keep producing mycotoxins inside your body that are harmful to brain and overall health.
When I was recovering from my first big mold exposure, my sinuses became so sensitive that I couldn’t tolerate putting almost anything in them, but they were horribly colonized.
The Citridrops (homeopathic) nasal spray plus a homemade hydrosol nasal spray saved me! Neither of them hurt or made symptoms worse. With those two very gentle nasal sprays and a sinus probiotic, I got rid of my fungal colonization after 9 months of daily treatment. I know that seems like a long time, but boy was it worth it! It got rid of the daily headaches, sinus pressure, brain fog, and fatigue that I had lived with for years!
My homemade hydrosol nasal spray recipe:
Clean Brown Glass Nasal Spray Bottle - clean in the dishwasher or boil if possible to sterilize before use.
In a sterile measuring cup, mix 8 ounces of water with 1 neti pot or sinus rinse salt packet or Xlear xylitol + salt packet.
Stir to dissolve the salt in the water.
Pour into the nasal spray bottle up to the shoulder
Mix together equal parts of 3 anti-fungal hydrosols. Your choices are:
Sage
Eucalyptus
Tulsi
Rosemary
Lemon Thyme
Add ¼ tsp. of this mix to the nasal spray bottle.
Put the lid on and shake gently to mix.
Keep in the refrigerator. If funky smell develops after several months, discard, resterilize, and make a new batch.
