Specialized Lab Tests
Most of my favorite tests can be
ordered through my lab store.
My favorite mycotoxin test for your body
must be ordered from the lab.
Test Your Home For Toxic Mold
The Dust Test Mold DNA Test:
This is my favorite lab for running an ERMI test in your home (or office).
The sampling devices are appropriately sterilized and sealed to prevent contamination.
They use a high quality lab.
The reports provide an enormous amount more information for interpreting the results than other labs
They will go over your results with you on the phone.
Analytics Global 11 Mycotoxin Panel:
This is the most accurate home mycotoxin test I have found. I have been using this test for years to complete the ERMI test, which has limitations (they both do).
The sampling devices are appropriately sterilized and sealed to prevent contamination.
They the highest level certifications for their lab.
The reports are super easy to understand: either the mycotoxin is present and a threat to your health or it’s not present.

Mattress Ventilator
Mold loves to grow inside mattresses when they get too humid and can’t dry out easily.
That’s another plug for keeping the humidity level in your bedroom below 50%! However, mattresses can also get humid just from the moisture released from our body at night.
That being said, you also want a well slatted bed support that allows the mattress to release moisture from below while your body adds moisture to the mattress from above.
Most people have well-ventilated slats under their mattress, but if not, you could swap them out for a different style of bedframe or get this mattress ventilator.
This ventilator is something I recommend EVERY RV lifer get for their RV mattress because RV bed supports are almost never slatted or what’s beneath the slats is another closed cavity. That’s why mold is almost universal in RV mattresses unless they’ve got something like this under them.
Humidity Meters
Mold likes to grow when the humidity level in the air is above 50%. And in fact, it does NOT need a leak to grow. High humidity in the air alone is enough.
A Multi-pack of hygrometers like this can be used to check the humidity levels throughout your space, and throughout all the seasons.
If you have areas of your home (or office) where the humidity often hovers higher than that, you may want to consider adding a dehumidifer to that space.
If most of your home or office is often too humid and you have a ducted HVAC system, you can consider adding a dehumidifer to the HVAC system that works to dehumidify the whole home.
Under Sink Mat
Mold prevention is a great investment, and overflow/leak basins are an important part of that strategy.
This under-sink mat is a great investment in case the pipes supplying or draining your sink begin to leak. It can prevent thousands of dollars of damage to the sink cabinet and floor below, even if it’s just a slow leak!
Dehumidifier
Once you go through mold, you don’t want to go through it again!
Mold prevention is a great investment, and dehumidification can be an important element in preventing mold growth.

Washing Machine Drain Pan
Once you go through mold, you don’t want to go through it again!
Mold prevention is a great investment, and overflow/leak basins are an important part of that strategy.
This handy pan is designed to catch the overflowing water if your washing machine overflows.
Leak Alarms
Once you go through mold, you don’t want to go through it again!
Mold prevention is a great investment, and leak alarms are an important part of that strategy.
Mold can grow within 24-48 hours of a water damage event. So, the sooner you know about a leak, and can stop it, and dry out the building materials that got wet, the better.
These little alarms are not the wifi variety. You don’t need an app. If you want that kind so you get alerts when you’re away from home, they exist too. This is the low EMF option.
Put them by every water inlet in your house - toilets, under sinks, under the washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, water heater, etc. They will scream if they get wet. They also scream if their battery is dying, which sucks, but so far, that is a feature of all water alarms I have tried.
