Jana Organics Liposomal Drops
For detox support that includes the glutathione pathway, liver and bile support, I love this all in one liposomal product. It also has the gentle mycotoxin binders of Fulvic and Humic Acids.
I’ve used it myself with good results.
Glutaryl Topical Glutathione
This topical glutathione by Auro Wellness is my favorite form of glutathione. I love that it can be applied to the skin, so it’s phenomenal for anyone with sensitive taste buds. I often have people tell me they can feel the benefit within an hour.
Dandelion
Dandelion root tincture is another great way to support the detoxification pathway of glucuronidation, which is the primary liver detoxification pathway needed by a number of mycotoxins to get detoxed from the body.
I like this particular product, because it is made by a very reputable company, high purity, high potency, and alcohol free.
Calcium D-Glucarate
I like to use Calcium D-Glucarate to support the detoxification pathway of glucuronidation, which is the primary liver detoxification pathway needed by a number of mycotoxins to get detoxed from the body.
Note that it can also lower estrogen levels, so if you’re already low estrogen, this may not be the right glucuronidation support for you.
I like this particular product, because it is very clean, with minimal other ingredients, high purity, and potency. One softgel per day is the typical dose.
Astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is an extremely powerful antioxidant, which comes from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. The astaxanthin in this product is extracted directly from microalgae using a solvent-free technology that ensures maximum control and purity and allows for optimal bioavailability and stability.
I like to use Astaxanthin to support the detoxification pathway of glucuronidation, which is the primary liver detoxification pathway needed by a number of mycotoxins to get detoxed from the body.
These Mycotoxins Use Glucuronidation as a Route of Being Detoxified:
Ochratoxin
Sterigmatocystin
T-2 toxin (trichothecene)
Zearalenone
Alternariol
DON (deoxynivalenol)
It does double duty by protecting the cells from the high levels of oxidative stress common in mycotoxin or biotoxin-induced illness.
Takesumi Supreme
Takesumi or carbonized bamboo is well known in Japan but is just now becoming well known in the US. It’s a binder that I find help with detoxifying some mycotoxins, heavy metals, chemicals, and endotoxins. I also find it can abort food reactions if taken quickly after the food is eaten/reaction starts. It is also reported to adsorb radiation (radon, nuclear, etc.).
Once bound to the toxins, the binding effect of Takesumi Supreme will help to carry the toxins out in the stool, preventing reabsorption from the GI tract into the bloodstream.
For those who want to start with just one binder, this is a good place to start if you’re not already constipated.
If you’re already struggling with constipation, you may want to start with something else, since this can worsen that problem. You may also be able to off-set the constipating effect with magnesium citrate or oxide.
The great thing about this binder is that it comes in a powdered form, so if you’re nervous about trying a binder, you can start with just a sprinkle.
This one is best taken 2 hours away from food, other supplements and medications. Between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner, or in the middle of the night often work best for my patients.
Gentle Bind
Gentle Bind is a binder designed for people who can’t tolerate traditional binders that are harsh on the gut, or require strict timing.
This formula takes a gentler approach while providing powerful binding action to help facilitate the removal of toxins. Organic aloe vera assists in soothing the gut lining, okra supports the gut barrier which can be sensitive from toxin exposure, and lemongrass adds antioxidant support and promotes a healthy inflammatory response.
Take it with food or on an empty stomach, whenever it works for you. Gentle Bind supports nutrient absorption when taken with food. If other binders caused discomfort, constipation, or were difficult to tolerate, Gentle Bind lets you keep moving forward with getting mycotoxin out of your system.
Once bound to the toxins, the binders in Gentle Bind help to prevent them from getting reabsorbed in the GI tract and back into the bloodstream. Instead, they help carry them out in your stool.
If you’re already struggling with constipation or you’re really sensitive to new treatments, this one could be a good binder to try first. If you’re super sensitive, start with just a sprinkle with food, and work up to the full dose as tolerated.
G.I. Detox
G.I. Detox is a great combination binder. It has multiple binders in that have been shown to bind to a broad spectrum of mycotoxins (and other toxins). Once bound to the toxins, they help to prevent them from getting reabsorbed in the GI tract and back into the bloodstream. Instead, they help carry them out in your stool.
When someone is being exposed to multiple different types of mycotoxins or has a body burden of multiple different mycotoxins, I will often choose this as their base binder IF they’re not super sensitive or already constipated.
This one is a little gentler, and slightly less broad spectrum that Ultra Binder, in my experience. So, if someone isn’t tolerating Ultra Binder, I will step down to this one.
If you’re already struggling with constipation or you’re really sensitive to new treatments, I would not start with this combination binder. Don’t worry, there are other options for you.
This binder must be taken 2 hours away from food, other supplements, and medications to be most effective. Therefore, it can be hard to get in. Most of my patients either take it between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner, or in the middle of the night when they wake up to pee.

Sustained-Release NAC
Did you know that when mold, candida, parasites, or pathogenic bacteria are growing in our body, they’re almost always growing inside a protective little castle called a biofilm? These biofilms prevent antimicrobials from work, and even our immune systems from being able to get rid of the overgrowth or infection.
Anytime I need to do an anti-microbial protocol whether it’s to eradicate fungal colonization, parasites, or bacterial overgrowth, I always add biofilm disruptors. Otherwise, treatment often doesn’t work.
NAC, is one such biofilm disruptor. I like to use the sustained-release version of it when using NAC as a biofilm disruptor so that it makes it into the lower parts of the digestive tract.
I often combine it with several other biofilm disruptors which all have different mechanisms of action for the best outcome.
NAC is also a great mucus thinner, and a precursor to glutathione production. Glutathione supports detoxification and is a master antioxidant in the body, so I use this NAC for those purposes too.
